Why Does the Molecular Weight Matter? Using Hyaluronic Acid of varying molecular weights can be tricky, as the bigger molecules that cannot penetrate epidermis can block other molecules from penetrating as well. Our Oligo Hyaluronic Acid line only uses Hyaluronic Acid of a super low molecular weight (5,000da), which can penetrate even into the dermis, absorbing quickly and filling all layers of skin with moisture.
